The Challenger Division Little League of Calgary provides an opportunity for physically and developmentally challenged children (starting at age 5), teens and young adults to experience the fun of playing baseball. The league stresses the basics of ball with the primary purpose of having fun, exercise for each player and the experience of being part of a team regardless of skill level or ability. Teams are divided into various age groups and play one game each Saturday. Little League ‘buddies’ help their challenged partners catch, throw, field and get around the bases.
